Earlier this week we held a vigil outside the UN to call once again for a sustained ceasefire in Gaza.

Since the war escalated on Oct. 7, more than 17,000 Palestinian people have been killed. Among them are four of our colleagues. Many more have been injured.

Happy #MothersDay. To the those who have children. And to those who have given birth to other forms of life: ideas, ideals, works of art. To those who have nurtured talent and loved without condition. And those who have protected the vulnerable. You can be a mother in many ways.
