BREAKING: MAGA world explodes with rage as more than 1,000 veterans and military family members sign an open letter supporting Tim Walz amidst J.D. Vance's vile smears against his military career.

Vance really kicked the hornet's nest this time...

"JD Vance’s recent comments attacking Governor Walz’s service record are disrespectful and deeply disappointing, especially given Vance’s own service — which we are also profoundly grateful for," the letter reads.

"But given Donald Trump’s long record of expressing disdain for service members, veterans, and their families, it’s unsurprising that his running mate has stooped to such lows," it goes on.

The signatories add that they're "appalled" at the "politically motivated attacks" that Trump and Vance have launched at Walz by falsely accusing him of lying about his 24-year service.

The letter praises Walz for having "demonstrated throughout his career a profound respect for those who serve, as well as their families.”

"His service, both in uniform and as a public servant, embodies the values of duty, honor, and commitment. During his tenure as Governor of Minnesota and as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, he has been a steadfast advocate for veterans and military families, helping veterans access the benefits they earned," they write.

"He championed legislation to increase access to mental health care for those who have served and expand benefits for higher education," they add.

The fact that Vance and Trump are resorting to this exceptionally dirty trick — the same way that Republicans once attacked John Kerry's service with their swiftboat smears — just proves that they have nothing to run on.

Republicans can't talk policy and they can't defend their own disastrous candidates, so they're forced to lie about Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

It won't work.
