Fought in the 3rd Ukrainian Front, was a battalion commander and guard captain. Fought from 1941 to 1945.
Was wounded three times. Awarded medals and the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the Red Banner, also the Order of the Patriotic War.

Polikarpova Elena Andreevna

Surgical nurse, senior sergeant of the medical service, at the front from 1941 to 1945. Graduated from the Stalingrad Medical School.

They fought together and met in the hospital. She sang and played the guitar, performed for the wounded. They registered in liberated Odessa. Together with their front, they liberated Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Vienna.
