Mayumi Tanaka, the longtime voice actress of Monkey D. Luffy, has revealed that she asked WIT Studio to consider casting a different voice actress for the remake anime THE ONE PIECE. However, her request was ultimately declined. Tanaka, now 70 years old, stated that while she will continue voicing Luffy in the original One Piece, she does not wish to take part in the remake, marking a significant and emotional moment for fans as the franchise enters a new era.

I know people are upset and clowning the FINAL Black Clover chapters, but here’s some important context about the author and why he’s exhausted

• His wife was ill
• His daughter was ill
• A close friend passed away from illness
• He lost multiple editors who helped shape story decisions
• And on top of all that… Shueisha completely ran him into the ground

“During my trip to Barcelona, I was already behind on my Black Clover manuscript when I left, and I still couldn’t finish it while I was there.

So when I got back to Japan, they didn’t even let me go home. I had to stay in a hotel near Shueisha for four days until I finally managed to finish it.”

This man has one final volume left to wrap everything up. There are only so many pages and chapters he’s even allowed to use.

Quick clarification: We don't know anything about the next adaptation, what we said about the Japanese studio is just an assumption based on what we got told. We don't know if they're currently working on an adaptation or if they have any plans for the near future. Sorry for the confusion.

𒉭Since then we have been trying to get permission from them to work on the official adaptation, there has been meetings throughout the year pitching the idea, our dream was that they could give us a chance to make something in the same quality as the trailers we produced but it seems they have chosen to go with a Japanese studio for the next adaptation.
We understand the decision and wish them the best, as Berserk fans the one thing we care about is seeing this work adapted with love and care just as we were trying to do.
𒉭 We are extremely thankful for all the support and for all the people that started reading the manga thanks to our videos, for all the live reactions to our trailers and the encouragement we received. Our biggest dream has been to make this project happen.

-This essentially leaves us without any fan projects to work on for this channel, so we're taking a hiatus to decide the future of Studio Eclypse without fan-animations, we really don't want to work on something again for years only for it to be taken down once we publish. If you have any ideas on what we could do as a studio next year we would gladly read them in the comments to help us decide.
