Malaysia bans Israel-flagged ships from its ports in response to Gaza war | Israel-Palestine conflict News | Al Jazeera https://t.co/P3DzF7rKpf via @AJEnglish
By cutting off power/electricity to Gaza, Israel has murdered ALL patients in Gaza hospitals suffering from cardiovascular diseases, those with scheduled surgical emergency procedures, pregnant women requiring c-sections and babies in incubators. These are not Hamas fighters and shouldn’t be murdered just because they are Palestinians.
So, Ukrainian 🇺🇦 civilians defending their families are “freedom fighters”…
But Palestinians in Gaza 🇵🇸 doing the EXACT same thing against Israeli occupation, they’re condemned because they are fighting your allies = terrorism.
There’s clear double standard of Western.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has come under fire for its attempts to replace the existing military of Somalia with its own private forces. The private forces were recruited and funded by the UAE and underwent extensive training in Uganda.
There are growing concerns that the UAE is attempting to exert influence and control over Somalia's political and military affairs. This plan is similar to the UAE's failed attempt in Sudan that aimed to replace the regular military with its own proxy paramilitary force known, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The Gulf state’s military objectives and ambitions in are causing alarm in Somalia and neighboring countries. Many fear that the establishment of the private forces as the primary army in Somalia will give the UAE an undue level of control over the long-chaotic impoverished country's affairs.
Experts suggest that the Somali government, led by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, is unlikely to resist the UAE’s efforts to establish private forces due to his perceived loyalty to the Gulf state. MBZ is trying to control & capture fragile states like Yemen, Somalia and Sudan without firing a single bullet, MBZ is genius👍🏿
Paid a courtesy visit to
H. E. @M_Farmaajo , former President of #Somalia.
It’s known that I was critical of his administration & we revisited that chapter, discussed it & agreed we are brothers and we have a country we all wanted and want to fix.
