In 2018, 4chan tried to replace Wojak with Nujak and people genuinely thought he was being created to kill the original Wojak People on 4chan literally called him the “new Wojak” and told people to stop using the original because it was ugly, low-res and “not marketable.” They even memed like they were trading Nujak They literally designed him to “destroy Wojak from the inside out.” One guy posted about being up 12%, another claimed he had bought 100k, people were saying “Nujaks are the best jaks”, and some wanted everyone still posting old Wojak banned.
