It's funny to meme on Bwipo. But I've been on the scouting/coaching side of this, and tried to recruit female players before.

All it takes is 3 (somtimes as few as 2) people across management/potential team mates, to hold these views to block a female player from getting picked up, no matter their skill level.

Woke up and saw the Bwipo clip -> Saw the FlyQuest tweet -> Read reddit/twitter/etc. His comment is super gross and ignorant and I'm even confused on how he can make it (there are woman pro players in games already and have been historically lol. Not to mention in other high end stress jobs like what). I would expect/anticipate that Riot will do something now as well.

Actually such a disbelief moment in regards to level of stupidity/ignorance the clip is. It's the type of clip genuinely malicious/misogynistic/hateful ppl would try to weaponize against female players, instead of trying to make spaces more inclusive for them.

I fully believe the reason why for example there aren't more female pros has nothing to do with biology, but rather the environments within the space don't create proper places for the talents to shine through and get real opportunities.

In league specifically there are literal female challenger players right now in every region, it's dishonest to say none of them could be pro lol.

Also a lot of pro players have mental illnesses pertaining to anxiety/depression/etc which are CONSTANT (not once a month like a period) thing, so it's also even more crazy to claim a period would somehow ever be worse.

Since posting Neon's story, two additional victims (kept anonymous for safety) privately shared that they had also allegedly faced severe sexual misconduct and grooming from a staff member at Origen.

Both were minors at the time.

They confirmed through privately shared images and screenshots that they believe this individual is David Primo, who is listed as a co-founder of the organisation.
