I have done everything in my power to get an understanding with this company @Airbnb and their customer service rep CARL forced me to take a refund that was not suitable for the offense by stating that either I take what he offered or receive nothing.
Soooo.. @Airbnb still refuses to give me a full refund or even a partial refund for the days I did not stay on their property. It's so disheartening that they feel the need to steal from hard-working people in this economy.
I’m asking Airbnb to do the right thing—refund the full amount for the unused nights. Guests shouldn’t have to pay the price for a host’s lack of care.
This situation has cost me nearly $2,000—money I should not be responsible for losing due to a host’s negligence. I’ve been a long-time @Airbnb user with no prior issues or bad reviews, and I expected to be treated fairly.
Per @Airbnb’s own cancellation policy, since I left the morning of Nov 8 before 3 PM, I should have been refunded for the 8th, 9th, and 10th. Instead, I’m being charged for nights I didn’t stay and for a home that was clearly not cleaned or guest-ready.

Carl initially offered a one-night refund and a $200 credit, but that doesn’t make sense since I didn’t even stay two of the nights I paid for. He seems to be rushing to close the case without fully addressing the issue, and that makes me feel undervalued as a loyal @Airbnb guest
suitable for guests. I reached out to the host and Airbnb immediately and have been communicating with a customer service representative named Carl. Unfortunately, the experience with him has been just as disappointing.
screen door, which made me feel unsafe.
Because it was late at night when I arrived, I had no other choice but to stay that one night ON THE COUCH!! The next morning, I left the property and booked another Airbnb for $900—a property that was clean, safe, and actually
When I arrived, I found used washcloths still in the shower, hair and stains on the sheets, mildew-smelling towels, and no hot water—we were forced to take cold showers. There were cobwebs above the shower, a towel rack hanging off the wall, and even a missing glass panel on the
I recently had one of the worst @Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. My stay was booked for Nov 7–10, but I only stayed for about 10 hours before checking out because the property was completely unclean and unsafe
