@GEDSB Congratulations Scott! It's been a fantastic experience working with you. I appreciate all the support and confidence you've given me. You have been a model leader and mentor. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement.
We wanted to take a moment to thank our nurses here at the #BCHU all their hard work and dedication! 👏💗
May 10-16 is National Nursing Week, let's take a moment to show our appreciation to nurses everywhere. We couldn't do it without them. #NursingWeek2021#ThankYou
@MrsLynnAbbey @mrrgteacher That's some good nostalgia right there! I think we got a lot of mileage out of that clip back in our consultant/coordinator days!

This talk of whether or not the school year will be "written off" is frustrating. Even if Ss don't return to buildings before June 30, a massive amount of work has gone into remote crisis learning plans. All Board staff would be crushed if people consider that a "write off".
@lgirsa @rob_gascho Please don't forget IT and Ed Tech staff who have been frantically figuring out new logistics to get Board devices in the hands of families who need them. Not to mention facilities and a senior administration who are responsible for creating new procedures from the ether.

Your Teachers, DECEs, EAs, Secretaries, Custodians, Volunteers, Vice-Principal and Principal miss you all. Keep doing your best and we will see you as soon as it’s safe @GEDSB#GEBeWell
We're at a pivot point in society thanks to #COVID19. Our primitive brains instinctively divide the world into "Us" and "Them,." Our enlightened brains are hardwired to be kind, empathic & inclusive. Choose enlightenment. Choose kind. Let's make #ChooseKind a trending topic.
These Grade 9 EQAO Math scores are never talked about in the media. If there was a crisis in math education it would be seen in these scores too. And yet 84% of Grade 9 Academic students are scoring level 3 or above.
