Erik is an amazingly talented designer and we're so lucky he loves working on Cashu apps. His talk is really interesting, I never knew the hidden motivation behind the iMac G3 handle... no wonder I loved my G3 so much!
Numo has made a lot of progress since its launch earlier this year.
Each release and its most significant changes are summarized on the Numo website. 👇
At @btcplusplus yesterday, Erik walked us through the development of Numo, a Bitcoin POS app powered by Cashu.
A key part of the process has been putting Numo in merchants’ hands and learning from their feedback. These insights have shaped new features and improvements, helping the team understand what a POS needs to fit into merchants’ day-to-day work.
Numo’s development is part of the wider effort across Cashu to make private Bitcoin payments easy to use in everyday life. 🥜
i'll be speaking at @btcplusplus berlin payments edition next week about our approach to building @NumoPayApp.
designing for merchants is very different from designing for end users, but we're working toward a unified payment ux on cashu that makes bitcoin payments as frictionless as possible.
tap to pay in cashu wallets and tap to pay receiving in numo is our first step in that direction.
Numo v1.9 is here! The biggest design release we've shipped. This release brings a new onboarding, rebuilt settings, new add item ux, and Material 3 UI update.
In Berlin for bitcoin++ gets paid?
Don't miss @eriklocalhost talk on Numo: our approach to user testing, the feedback that shaped priorities, and where merchant needs diverged from developer assumptions.
