BFR Training
-Research that validates its safety has only explored 3-5 minute windows
-It should only be tight enough to slow down venous blood flow, but not arterial
-Please don't keep the device on during your entire workout
It's like a bad game of science telephone
If you train mostly enhanced athletes
Keeping a small stock of intermediate-advanced athletes committed to not using PEDs can greatly benefit you.
Access to fewer tools will sharpen your skill set and help your enhanced athletes not have to take as many risks.
How often a drug-free bodybuilder will be accused of being a "fake natty" has less to do with their FFMI score than the casual bodybuilding fans believe.
In actuality, it's skeletal structure and muscle shape create those physiques that confuse most fitness hall monitors.
Unlike your initial goal physique, your Gen 3-4 goal physique is probably unsustainable
It doesn't mean it's not worth pursuing
You won't be able to rock that physique year-round, but the upgrades you made to your grit and character software will always be there to pull from
Competitive bodybuilders
Often it’s your tribe that is holding you back from taking that next step in your career.
On average, bodybuilders enjoy confirmation over information on such topics.
Tribes that are soft rivals, on average offer the best constructive criticism.
Bodybuilders will pester powerlifters about their arch on a bench press but proceed to incline press with an arch.
It doesn’t take much arch to nullify the incline at which the bench is set.
Trust me; I’ve been terrible about this in the past.
Don’t use contest prep as a transformation vehicle, chances are it will only further delay what you genuinely want.
You risk causing long-term harm that you don’t fully understand yet.
Contest preps are best left for athletes who have transformed their physiques long ago.
“Aiming for the top of the weight class brotherRRRR”✊
This mindset, in most cases, will compromise your chances of winning.
It's very unlikely that your best physique happens to fall at this arbitrary weight cutoff.
It's because you do this for other people that you keep getting in your way.
Perhaps it's time for a sit-down talk with yourself and, finally, ask yourself what you want.
If you are a serious competitive physique athlete, it's in your best interest to learn to generate 60 hours of sleep a week.
Like the process of building muscle, this task is best left assigned to your offseason and then maintained as best as you can through a prep.
Do you want to get on stage any time in the next 5 years?

A good contest prep only needs about 4 adjustments
More adjustments is a sign the play-caller was lost and grasping for straws
Fewer means some stretches were more invasive than need be
Both lead to tired and less predictable physiques regardless of how conditioned they are
When I was still considering the IFBB route, one of my mentors told me the following.
"If you can't fall around the first call-out at the national level without drugs, then the juice may not be worth the squeeze."
Not very pragmatic advice, still hindsight, it was very sensible
A quirk I have been fascinated me for far too long to not share.
Female biceps always look like female biceps. No matter how developed or down the drug use rabbit hole you go.
They attach differently and shaped more like a motorcycle gas tank than a baseball.
When building training programs☝️
Upon achieving a certain level of proficiency, you stop counting weekly sets per body part.
There is so much more to a good program. Much more depth and moving parts than sets per week.
“Yeah, that looks about right!
*Save & Send*
Less than 1% of males in physique sports get under 10% body fat.
Competitors who reach single-digit body fat levels are easy to spot.
When asked what their body fat percentage is, they don’t have an answer.
They could care less.
These guys truly understood the assignment.
