@bballbreakdown@colegardner1 The shared thoughts by an official Chip Clark are good overall. The SGA push-off was correctly explained but a defensive left hand /stiff arm existed followed by a right hand impede, so one can’t call a marginal offensive foul w/o addressing a defensive foul.
@bballbreakdown This is a travel violation. Why ? The slo-mo video shows that the gather is created with the right foot as the gather foot. This means before he does his step-thru he has already taken 3 steps
Legal, unusual but, legal. If we envision the jump stop, one can gather the ball and launch into the air landing on 2 feet. This added creativity is unique but it follows the guideline maneuver for a jump stop and a pivot to the hoop.
This, of course is a unusual action but if we are to adhere to our correct rules, it is a legal maneuver. There’s a Lft gather(0) into a leap & land w/both Ft (1) making either Ft the pivot. Once a step thru occurs, it is step (2) into a finish of a layup.
Funniest interaction of the night:
LeBron to the ref: “EJECT HIM. HE JUST ELBOWED MY F*CKING HEAD”
Rudy: “SHUT UP SOFT A$$ MOTHERF*CKER”
LeBron: "I WILL BEAT THE SH*T OUTTA YOU"

@HaterReport_ Good call in charging a Tech to Gobert. But officials have been a bit sloppy not whistling a Violation by shooter stepping over line prior to the ball hitting rim. Key is are we taking care of this before a critical play of this nature occurs?
@BinkleyHoops Correct call friends- Slow-mo reveals shooter "alights" normally into the air for his jumper. He does NOT commit an illegal "leg-kickout" to lure contact but rather the defender in an attempt to go along side the shooter clips his heel and commits the foul.
@Charlie68447601 Send me the clip - I saw it on a post game clip very quickly and it appeared ok so, of you can send the clip , that would help.
Thx RN
