The company has been trying really hard to suppress Jimin's popularity in recent years, especially after the solo era. He's simply too powerful and it doesn't fit their preconceived plans. He was never supposed to become as popular as he is, yet he continues to prove them wrong through his impact, achievements and the usupport he receives from fans around the world.

Their concert staging is scripted and designed to keep him hidden and in the shadows, just like during recent comebacks. Despite being the group's strongest performers, his presence is deliberately toned down instead of highlighted. He's not even on the big screen when he's singing his solo lines or performing his iconic moves. If anything, it even more noticeable now that the solo era has shown each member's individual popularity and influence. He always comes out on top and they don't like that

They constantly underestimate him and when he does achieves something, they play it down. I don't think he was ever expected to become the most popular member and he certainly wasn't supposed to outshine the others as consistently as he has. Yet no matter what, his performances, stage presence, artistry and public recognition continue to speak for themselves. That's why no amount of script and staging decisions can diminish the impact he's built on his own.
