@lleeaannaa_ Hahaha I got to the take a 20 minute hike and instantly thought "when do we have 20 minutes for that?", then read the next line 🤣 I like this rule. Using it my next shift

I still feel so bad and remember the look on his face. I just wish he knew that I had inattentive ADD and had spaced out and then thought it was too late to stand 😭

I still think back in embarrassment to my honour band performance in 2008 when I was supposed to lead the entire band in standing for the guest director, and did, but then forgot to do the same for the director that had been practicing with us the whole time...

Today I got kicked out of the Legislature. I want to tell you why —

The U.S. is placing new caps on asylum seekers from Haiti, where people are facing political crisis, gang violence, a cholera outbreak and a worsening food emergency.

What the U.S. seems to have forgotten: its own role in creating the turmoil in Haiti.

Just for reference. People in Canada complaining about ER wait times and people waiting in hallways….I’ve had patients in the hallway of my fancy private ER wait 29 hours before even getting an ER room. Privatization is not the answer. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Thanks @lizzo for spending 640 minutes with me in 2022. I couldn’t stop listening to About Damn Time. #SpotifyWrapped    https://t.co/WX3Y2wT1GI

Kanye threatened the Jews yesterday on twitter and it’s not even trending. Why do mostly only Jews speak up against Jewish hate? The silence is so loud

We received an email the other day for a workshop to help us make our workplace a happier place again.... maybe the issue isn't that staff aren't doing enough for themselves, but that they are working in unsupported and poor resourced facilities... hmm

[Ricki Nunweiler @NunweilerRicki]

@meganwillis @PremierScottMoe Thank you! I came to say this. Out of touch is continuing to dismiss and ignore the healthcare crisis despite meeting with nursing leaders, other leaders that are begging him to address it. And then instead of using a surplus to do so, gives $500 to everyone in Sask... ridiculous

[NDP @NDP]

Did you know that the most common surgery performed on preschool children at most pediatric hospitals in Canada is treatment of dental decay?

Yet, the Conservatives don’t think children from qualifying households should have access to dental care.

It’s wrong.

Here's are some radical ideas for the nursing shortage.

How about making nursing school free? How about creating simulation centers so nursing students and IENs can actually complete their clinical hours? How about making legislation to ensure safe patient ratios?

[Ricki Nunweiler @NunweilerRicki]

@saramfung Yes. Thankfully in both of my workplaces, the nurses have really made it a safe space to ask questions. No question is a stupid question no matter how many years you have been practicing. This should be the case everywhere, in personal and professional aspects.

[Ricki Nunweiler @NunweilerRicki]

@lleeaannaa_ Who approved this ad and why didn't they see this as a bad thing on their part? Oh boy...

[Ricki Nunweiler @NunweilerRicki]

@hinz_tamara Oh my. That make me physically sick. How disgusting.

If anyone needed one last reason to not vote for Sask Party next election, this should be it. If you care at all about #SkHealthcare (which should be everyone) you should NOT vote for #Saskparty

[Ricki Nunweiler @NunweilerRicki]

This is such a mess. And instead of the government fixing this and investing money into healthcare, they are giving everybody $500! Way to make a change 🙄
