Dr. Stanley's Bible, which he left opened to Job 36, had verses 8-12 highlighted. Verse 11 says, “If they listen and serve Him, they will end their days in prosperity, and their years in happiness.” Dr. Stanley listened, served, and was abundantly blessed.
Now it’s our turn.
My husband’s three rules of engagement when we go to church:
1. An alone person in our gathering is an emergency.
2. Friends can wait.
3. Introduce a newcomer to someone else.

King Asa in the OT “did what was right in the eyes of the Lord.” Not the culture, Congress, the people, whoever was popular. He did what was right in GOD’S sight. As Christians, we have the Holy Spirit in us. Let’s ask him to help us live lives that are pleasing to the Lord.
Do you have a wayward child or grandchild who needs a visitation from heaven? Pray, “Lord, our family needs you. Come help us! Touch my loved one today!” It could happen when they’re getting dressed or walking down the street. God can shine his light and remind them of his love
“If I leave you as I found you, I am not God’s channel. I am not here to entertain you but to get you to the place where you can laugh at the impossible, to believe and to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Smith Wigglesworth
Here’s the foundation of everything Christians believe. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
