“‘Life isn’t fair’ well no, in some ways it isn’t- not on a cosmic scale, but that doesn’t mean us down here should get to make it even less fair. That just makes you a monster.”

@PrimalistDream @Mi_St526@fightfor15 We're in a pandemic where millions of people are unemployed because HUGE COMPANIES like fast food chains, keep laying off people despite having millionaire CEOs who could easily pay a livable wage but actively choose not to. Grow up, get a clue. Live in the real world.
@fightfor15 even better that they really had me busting my ass, working 40 hour work weeks as a minor in a store that had 4 people working during rush hours. that shit was fantastic i love being exploited and broken by capitalism 👍
@fightfor15 nothing like when i used to get of an eight and a half hour shift at taco bell, collapse onto the bottom of my stairs for half an hour and think about how i had just made $78. thanks pops ill go get a soda with this
@GhostOfAFern I like my job but it's the same way. Corporate wants us to cut back hours but on days where we have 1 driver, 1 Manager and 1 in-shop trying to make $1,000+ worth of product during lunch rush, it gets very hectic, tiring, etc.
BREAKING: Fast food workers nationwide are going on strike for $15 an hour, COVID-safe workplaces, and respect on the job February 16. #FightFor15 workers have been fighting too long for higher wages.

Diversity of casts in stories is already important for many reasons, but helping people with face blindness is another positive to put in that list of reasons
