@IkeYouGuys Big Thief’s DNWMIBIY has been my top played by far for 2022 albums. Also got to see them live for the first time late last year, so that has definitely put them at the top for me.

Watched Tati’s Playtime. Nearly wordless images express the absurdity of modern living. “Tativille” exists not only as an extravagant set but as a state of mind almost as oblivious as Mon. Hulot’s bumbling in and out of artifice. In the chaos we find humanity. 10/10 recommend.

@IkeYouGuys 100% agreed…I’ve also loved the new Mitski record, although I get why some might not totally be on board with it. Animal Collectives newest has been on repeat for me too. Getting Big Thief today on vinyl, can’t wait to spin it!

Teared up like *a lot* throughout the whole inauguration but held it together but then they just kept throwing cute children dancing or old people with diseases and positivity and then the New Radicals played a generically uplifting song and now I’m a mess.

@wilkerfox Hmmm...I really don’t think he would fit personally. I think Lars Mikkelson would be a great fit and I’ve also seen people suggesting Chiwetel Ejiofor, who I think would be stellar too.
