Theresa went to have a baby.
Her husband went to the hospital hoping to leave with his wife and baby, instead, he was met with the devastating news that his wife had died during childbirth.💔
In 2025 alone, 965 women in Ghana died from pregnancy-related complications.
965 mothers. Daughters. Wives. Sisters.
And the frightening thing is, almost all of us know someone who went to have a baby and never came home.
We cannot continue to treat maternal deaths as unfortunate statistics.
I am calling for a bipartisan parliamentary inquiry into maternal deaths in Ghana to understand WHY women are still dying, identify where our systems are failing them, and demand clear, time-bound action.
This must also become a national conversation.
Because when we pay attention, when we put the right systems in place and when we are deliberate, WE SAVE LIVES.
No woman should leave home to give life and never return.
For Theresa and for every woman whose story never made the news.
We must do better and we can. 🙏🏽
I’ll always say this, not everyone is wired to run a business or be an entrepreneur. Some people just need a solid 9-5 to get their feet planted and keep their life from going off the rails, and that is perfectly fine.

I was honored to witness a historic moment in Namibia, as H.E. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah was sworn in as the country’s first female president. Her leadership is a testament to the strength, resilience, and determination of African women.
May she continue to inspire men and women across the continent and prove that with courage and commitment, no dream is beyond reach. I wish her a successful tenure.
Okay, okay, okay, last one for tonight.
Team Aang destroyed the drill, the most advanced war machine at the time, defeating Azula, Ty Lee, Mai, and the Fire Nation Invasion Force all at once, just in a usual afternoon.
Korra’s Team and her Avatar State won’t ever achieve this. She will probably get crippled. But for Aang, NO AVATAR STATE needed!
It is a travesty to ever mention Aang and Korra in the same class. That agbero Avatar has more in common with street thugs than any Avatar.
Goodnight una. I rest.
This for my Girlies, we will make it, we will travel the world. We will vlog in Paris and eat croissants. You will have the soft life we dream of and all those silent cries will turn to laughter.
