Hey guys, as promised, here are my remarks from Election Night.
For all of you who stood with us and fought hard, we thank you. Jodi and I are blessed to have made so many strong friendships throughout this journey. We appreciate all of you and your dedication, hard work and commitment to fighting with purpose for our strong common-sense, conservative principles.

For those of you asking about what's next, stay tuned as we'll have very exciting announcements coming soon.

Many friends have also asked for advice on what to do in November. As I closed in my remarks on Election Night, don't give your vote for anything less than what we fought so hard for: a commitment to strengthen parental rights, empower law enforcement, support true medical freedom, establish limited and accountable government and provide for economic growth through free market policies. Regardless of who you decide to vote for...make 'em earn it.

Last week, I posted a video arguing that the heated disagreement between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President Donald Trump, and Vice President J.D. Vance in the Oval Office exposed the reality that Europeans don’t respect the United States and take our support for granted.

In response, the peace activist, former Democratic presidential candidate, and co-host of The Rising, Marianne Williamson, said that respect was an inappropriate shortcut for foreign policy. “I've been in Europe a lot. You're right: sometimes they insult you. They think we're stupid. But I'm not 12 years old, so that's not going to factor into my geopolitical calculations.”

But respect is not just for 12-year-olds, nor is the desire for it irrational. Everyone wants to be respected because it makes us feel safer and more secure. That might be because one of the surest ways to know whether you can trust someone is to see if they respect you. Respect confirms that people see you as human, like them. It is a source of self-worth and identity. It establishes fair treatment and equal status. By contrast, disrespecting someone is a quick route to conflict.

Respect is certainly not all that matters. America, for instance, is bound by a treaty to protect European nations in NATO from foreign aggressors. We should respect that treaty for hard-headed security reasons as well as for fundamentally moral ones. And we certainly are as responsible, if not more so, for aggressively expanding NATO in ways that contributed to Russia's decision to invade Ukraine.

But relationships that lack mutual respect can’t last. Treaties are only as good as the paper they are printed on if they are not backed up by support from the people in the nations whose representatives had signed them. And the fact that past US presidents from both parties contributed to the current situation does not alter the fact that our relationship with Europe needs to change.

In truth, America’s commitment to NATO weakened long before the Oval Office dust-up last Friday. America’s invasion and occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq were disastrous and created many wounded warriors. The withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan was shameful, resulting not simply in a return to power by the Taliban but also in the turning over of American armaments.

Why has all of this been so hard for progressive elites in the West to understand? Why does the need for respect seem so trivial to so many?
