⏰NEWS: TRUMP JUST PUT BILLIONS BEHIND THE RACE TO BREAK CHINA’S GRIP ON CRITICAL MINERALS

The U.S. is backing roughly $3B in critical-mineral and battery projects, including a $1.4B conditional loan to Sila, as Washington pushes domestic and partner-nation supply chains for defense and technology.

And Canada is moving in the same direction: its new Critical Minerals Accelerator includes C$2B over five years, while Ottawa has already signed an agreement supporting Teck’s operations in British Columbia.

That’s the bigger setup I’m watching with NRED. Wilmac is still early-stage, but it gives investors copper-gold exploration exposure in BC at a moment when North American mineral security is attracting serious government capital.

The money is moving toward secure supply. Now the question is which exploration projects can actually deliver. NRED stays on my radar.

GOLD TOUCHED $4.4K/OZ, AND $NRED.CN JUST REMINDED THE MARKET THAT WILMAC IS A COPPER-GOLD STORY.

Spot gold reached about $4.4k/oz before easing near $4.37k. At Wilmac, NRED reported gold results up to approximately 0.0126 oz per short ton alongside copper grades reaching 1.67% from previously excavated trenches.

The gold result matters because the updated model targets alkalic copper-gold porphyries, the same general deposit family mined elsewhere in British Columbia. NRED also identified porphyry-style alteration, AB-type veins and mineralized stockwork at surface.

Wilmac remains an exploration project with no defined resource. Still, copper near $6.48/lb and gold above $4.3k/oz give the market two strong reasons to care if deeper work validates the model. I like this multi-metal leverage.
