The welfare of the horse is the foundation upon which rider safety is built.
The rider entrusts their life to the horse.
The horse entrusts its life to our care.
When we honor both, excellence follows. Integrity stands firm. Champions emerge. Legacies are written. And the future of our sport is secured.
Racing fans, he's not going to @Gainesway alone.
Where WHITE ABARRIO goes, Brownie goes.
WHITE ABARRIO's sidekick and travel partner, Brownie, is making the move to @Gainesway with The Champ!
Some things you just don't split up!
@gporter812 The funniest bit is your entire take on all of this. As if you’re uncovering some conspiracy…Also, just because you scream louder doesn’t make the words coming out of your mouth any more true. Good day sir.
@gporter812@c00liebai@TheNYRA How is any of that helpful to the original question? I can’t even pretend to connect the dots of your thinking. For the record—that is not who signs my checks. And the entire horse racing industry is one big conflict of interest, also not a mystery or scandal and not news.
@c00liebai@TheNYRA@andyserling Because the other steward is the only one that testifies in court if a decision goes to litigation. Pretty standard legal precedent, not some scandalous mystery.
@FreddyLA7 The BRAND NEW $500 million dollar renovated Belmont Park opens back up September 18th for horse racing in New York! No track like it in the US! VIP experience 👌dm me
@SaratogaGoose Totally not a joke! Back in the day the track used to actually rent out pants/attire! Now it’s kind of a track secret but you’d be surprised! Found all this out a couple years ago when a group of old timers showed up to their box suite in shorts🤦🏼♀️
Trainer Amelia Green and bloodstock agent Amanda Gillman credit shared lessons from Todd Pletcher — and an uncommon level of trust — for turning a fledgling stable into one of racing’s emerging success stories. @BreedersCup

🇺🇸 Exciting news!

I’ll never forget sitting by the paddock at the old Belmont one spring with the late John Attfield and he says “Colonial Downs? Beautiful! But by god it is the HOTTEST bloody track in all of America, maybe the world!”—being it’s my home track and I worked the 2022 meet, I’m now inclined to forever agree with my wise Brit friend. Hot just ain’t the word y’all!
And handle was gonna take a hit when they decided to run head to head with SAR so doubt they’re worried about taking a hit for an earlier post. They’re making smart decisions to best be able to safely run the races, as opposed to cancelling or putting horses and humans in unnecessary danger, perhaps at the slight cost of handle…..unlike some other poorly managed tracks…
Wouldn’t be shocked to see adjustments to post times or days next season.
