NYK’s playoff run began with Mike Brown meeting with Knick starters to clear the air, James Dolan asking for 10 weeks of sacrifice (and no fornication?) and ended Saturday in San Antonio. Story on 2026 Knicks cementing themselves as a forever team in NY: https://t.co/EpKzPntjuV
"We don't really talk about it, but the weight of that jersey. The expectations, the pressure of that jersey. Right now, it's the lightest it's ever felt."
Josh Hart talks about his emotions after winning the NBA Finals:
"There a couple of franchises that are pretty iconic just because of the history that they have, location that they're in, sometimes even the building that they're in and New York is definitely one of the few that you could say that to in all three facets... I don't really think about the tough times they've had because everyone has tough times.. you just want to try the best you can to be a part of whatever you can to being joy to the city, to the organization... I feel blessed, fortunate, lucky to be a part of what's going on now"
Mike Brown on leading New York to a new era of golden basketball:
“You talking about —- them picks?” Mikal Bridges said. “… Yeah, —- ‘em.” Bridges shares insight on how his mindset aligns with his critics after a 14-point, 4 assist performance in Game 5:
Asked Mikal Bridges about this after the game; I used the word ‘expletive’ in my question. “You mean f—- them picks?” he said. Went on to give a great answer, which included an affirmative “F—- them picks”. Will post the video when it’s available.

“It just speaks to his resiliency … making the biggest play in the game,” Karl-Anthony Towns on Mitchell Robinson stopping Victor Wembanyama twice in final 30 seconds. Robinson: “Been here for 8 years, now here we are in the Finals. I can truly say I done seen it all.”
“He didn’t have the athleticism. He didn’t have the size. So what gets you over? Mental toughness, hard work & being very, very skilled”

Strong contests by Mitchell Robinson on Victor Wembyama's last two attempts - a miss with 30 seconds to go and then a miss at the Game 2 buzzer. Knicks win both Finals games in San Antonio, have won 13 straight postseason games. Game 3 is in New York on Monday.
League sources say Mitchell Robinson suffered a broken right pinky. No timetable on the reserve center’s return. Game 1 of NBA Finals is on Wednesday. Brutal injury news for the Knicks, who have relied on Robinson as a rotation big all season long. The Athletic first to report.
Mitchell Robinson got tangled up with several Cavs with 5:25 to go in 2nd quarter of Game 4. He ended up on the ground. On game broadcast, you can see a teammate go for Robinson's right hand to help him off the floor and Robinson pulls it away. Robinson remained in the game, apparently playing through the injury. Unclear if this is the specific point where Robinson suffered the broken right pinky, but if it is, it's a good for NYK that he was able to play through it
"I know that Robinson will push to play. A player's opinion does matter in these things"
@IanBegley with more on Mitchell Robinson's broken pinky and what that means with the NBA Finals coming up
"From afar, I just felt that this team was ready. I'm just thrilled to death that Mr. Dolan gave me an opportunity and Leon Rose gave me an opportunity to be a head coach again, especially here in New York."
Mike Brown on his journey to get back to the NBA Finals as a head coach
Knicks' 11th straight playoff win clinches Eastern Conference title, sending them to NBA Finals for first time since 1999. Team has legitimate chance to win first title since 1973. Knicks are +272 during winning streak. They've won 3 closeout games by combined 118 pts
Josh Hart says it's "surreal" to play with college teammates Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson on the Knicks:
"We already share a bond and a brotherhood for life. This is just another step there."
