..be on hold for a bit.

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]

Starting June 21st, the Nya team will be away for a few weeks to recharge after 2 years of non-stop maintenance.

Don't worry, the site will stay up and running! We'll only be stepping in if there's a complete outage, though, so regular support requests (except supporters) will..

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]

For more frequent feature updates and faster DM responses, please see our bsky instead!! Twitter loves to send all the DM requests we receive to spam, and we post updates more frequently there.

(we will still post important updates/respond here, too)

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]

thanks for 80 users! thats like... a whole instance! in other news, anime is down again :/ working on it (requests will stop this in the future, still wip!)

v0.99 - Invite Only

Notes:
- An invited account is required to use the website, but does not affect in-game.
- You can DM this account for an invite (literally just like "invite plz" works)

Please let us know if you have any issues!

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]

We also have an updated privacy policy that will clearly share what data we collect regarding accounts.

Thanks for your support! Next up - DB Requests (4/4)

🚨 Important announcement regarding Nya Media:

We'll be going to an invite-only system in our next update. This is unfortunately a necessary measure for the longevity of our platform. (1/4)

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]

...please reply to this thread or send us a DM. We're open to suggestions!

We'll attempt to reach out to users with invite codes as the update drops, but anyone is welcome to DM us for an invite code as well. (3/4)

Also in v0.98

- New media card design
- Improved navigation through search types
- Quick report options for the bug report menu

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]

Nya Media now has it's own dedicated database of media links!!

Dropping today is v0.98, which adds support with over 500 imported movies, to start. Soon, we'll add tv and anime alongside a page to request what we don't have!

Tysm to our donors for making this possible <3

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]

hitting new records today! ty all!!! big updates coming soon™

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]

v0.97 adds persistent provider dropdowns! nya media will finally remember which provider you've selected and save it across visits.

we also added a backend fix that should make anime fetch ~50% faster.

see yall next year <3

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]

v0.96.1 contains a huge refactor for our backend! this should mean some sources are faster, less downtime, and our popcorn source is back in working order.

on the frontend, we've added a page with a couple donation links :3c

v0.95.5 - Fixed an issue with using the wrong episode ID (This caused issues with "Uncensored" episodes). Thanks to the anonymous user that reported this! (Have fun, anon 😉)

[Nya Media @NyaMediaVR]
