This post here by my young brother, Muku, shows what is fundamentally wrong with the psyche of our youths today.
It takes a lot of mental corruption, if it is not disingenuity, to believe that Advocate Mahere has achieved nothing in her life.
We are talking of a lawyer who read for her degrees at both UZ and Cambridge. A lawyer who has distinguished herself in her trade. If such hardwork is considered nothing, but flaunting proceeds of corrupt government tenders by some obese ex-convict is achievement, it shows the rot in our national psyche.
Like what Dr Chivaura would say, "vechidiki vedu vakuda kurutsiswa".
We need a renewal of the mind, a complete reset of norms and values to re-inculcate the pride of hard work into our youths.
Our youths have to pride themselves in living on the sweat of their honest brow, not crumbs falling off the tables of miserly political leaders.
We might not just need "new leaders", we need "new followers" as well. Those that believe in hardwork, not charity, not donations from unscrupulous looters of national coffers, but proceeds from honest work. @rashweatm
@joseph_kalimbwe You were busy fighting wrong people while the opposition in Zimbabwe clapped hands for you now you see you have a job to do in your country.
@LaviKiaz@LCabonena The problem is that you have never been anywhere except S/Africa visit European countries this when you know the boundary is only in your brain like a rat....
@LCabonena That's when you realize that you are not one S/African in S/Africa politician will make money out of your stupidity and I tell you the problem that you championed will grow and will affect you as these will be in the comfort of politicians protections
