Tony Elemelu was appointed Group Chairman in 2014 & held the role until 21 August 2026.

During that period, he regularly appeared at AGMs & delivered the chairman’s address.

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is widely considered as the largest & most powerful annual gathering of world leaders.

There is no public record of Tony missing a UBA Annual General Meeting while serving as Group Chairman. So why would he suggest that it is okay for the president of the most populous & influential Black country on the planet to miss the United Nations General Assembly 3x???

Whenever he make bold statements, short sighted folks won’t understand what he is about.

He is a man who has built his business and political career on integrity and capacity as well as prudence.

Prudence was attacked a few weeks ago and he came out even better.

Many of us knew he was offered a deal by Nwike but what many were not aware is, the deal was not only bad but was offered to be used as blackmail.

PO’s team was covertly informed just before the meeting that the room was under intense surveillance including audio recordings.

There was no way under the earth that PO will accept that deal because it was bad and most importantly it was not offered genuinely because there was a better deal offered by Lapiti.

The deal was just to have PO accept it so it will be used to blackmail him.

What this has shown is what PO has always said, namely “I’m not desperate to be President but desperate to see Nigeria work”.

In this clip, African American political commentator Chainslayer vehemently refutes the ridiculous claim that Black people in the US are “foundational,” as in native to and belonging to the United States.

This is a claim that has been vigorously pushed by the so-called "Foundational Black American” (FBA) movement, whose leadership has funding ties with the right-wing Heritage Foundation. The FBA movement has incubated a pseudoreligious, self-denialist belief system surrounding the identity of Black people in the US, including fierce refusal to acknowledge their African heritage, anti-historical denial of the centuries-long kidnapping, tr*fficking and ensl*vement of Africans in the Americas, and reflexive hostility toward any other African-heritage populations, including Caribbeans and continental Africans.
