Tesla wrapped one of their Cybercabs to celebrate America's 250 birthday🇺🇸
"Made in Texas. Land of the free. Home of the brave."
The front of it has eyes and a mouth lol
Socialism is the preposterous notion that a small room of politicians and bureaucrats can run the economy better than the billions of consumers who determine value for themselves every day.
The dura is the brain's armor: a membrane so tough that a surgeon normally cuts through it with a scalpel. For the first time in our clinical trials, we inserted the electrode threads of our implant straight through the dura and into the cortex, keeping the dura intact.
Here's how we did it 🧵
Here’s the truth: AOC is so full of crap that one simple Google search exposes the whole lie
She’s lying to scare people again
Neither Elon nor DOGE can directly cut Social Security or Medicare benefits
That’s Congress’s job
AOC is literally in Congress. She knows this well

VW plans to end its self-driving partnership with auto supplier Bosch as part of a wider push to cut costs and after VW determined the technology was not competitive with other self-driving systems such as @Tesla's FSD.
This follows a report that VW plans to cut 100,000 jobs and close up to four factories in Germany.
NEWS: Starbase has picked Glenn Bennett as its first ever police chief, the city's commission says
Bennett will build and lead the new Starbase Police Department from scratch.
He is currently a special operations lieutenant at the Belton, Texas police department.
He served in the US Army from 2006 to 2021 and deployed to Afghanistan.
More than 50 people applied for the job since March.
Starbase created the force this year after a county deputy contract fell through.
The SpaceX town incorporated as a city in 2025 and keeps adding its own services.
A lot of people think you have to stop for hours to charge on a road trip.
From Las Vegas to Los Angeles, my Tesla only needs to stop and charge for 9 minutes — close to the time it takes to fill gas.
It will take us longer to eat & pee than charge.
🚨 BREAKING: Tesla just published the First Responders Guide for Cybercab. I’ve gone through the document and highlighted the notable sections you need to know.🧵👇
A young SpaceX employee asked Elon what happens if they fail to reach Mars in his lifetime. The room was full of engineers and the question landed heavier than anyone expected.
It was a simple question but it cut to the core of everything SpaceX exists for. The entire company, every late night, every exploded prototype, every engineer who missed their kid's birthday for a launch window, it all points at Mars. What if it doesn't happen in time?
Elon paused.
He said that the goal was never for him personally to walk on Mars. The goal was to build the infrastructure that makes it inevitable. That even if he dies before the first crew lands, the system he built would carry the mission forward without him.
He said the rockets, the factories, the team, the culture, all of it is designed to outlast any single person. Including him. Especially him.
Then he said something that reportedly moved people in the room.
He said that if he thought success depended on him being alive, he would have already failed. The whole point is building something that doesn't need its founder to keep going.
He compared it to a cathedral. The architects of medieval cathedrals knew they would die before the building was finished. They designed it anyway. They poured their life into something they would never see completed because the completion wasn't the point. The commitment was.
SpaceX is his cathedral. He may never set foot on Mars. But the road between here and there will exist because he refused to accept that nobody was building it.
The most ambitious man alive has already made peace with the possibility that his greatest achievement might happen after he's gone. That's not failure. That's faith in something bigger than yourself.
NEWS: California small fleets can now buy a Tesla Semi for as low as $50,000 by stacking two state incentive programs, Tesla Semi announced today.
The Tesla Semi MSRP is $290,000.
HVIP, the existing Clean Truck and Bus Voucher program, gives $120,000 off each Semi for up to 20 trucks.
CCFR, California's new Clean Fuel Reward program launching today, gives an additional $120,000 off each Semi with no purchase limit.
Combined, that is $240,000 in incentives. Net cost to a small fleet would be $50,000 per Semi.
That is 83% off the sticker price.
CCFR has $250 million available in 2026 and over $1 billion committed through 2030.
The program is funded by California's Low Carbon Fuel Standard, not federal money. It is independent of any federal EV credit changes.
Tesla Semi has captured 965 of 1,067 HVIP applications in California from January 2025 through February 2026. That is roughly 90% market share.
Here's my first Waymo ride in Nashville last night.
It started off well, but the vehicle got confused and stuck 4 minutes in. After about 10 minutes of trying, rider support got it moving again, but then it couldn't continue, so they had to escalate to another specialist. After another ~10 minutes, they said the Waymo could not complete the trip, and that I should call an Uber or Lyft ride to reach my destination. I was 3-4 minutes from my destination when the Waymo initially got stuck. The vehicle was on call with support for about 20 minutes in total.
While it would have been nice to reach my destination lol, I'm honestly not mad about it because it was interesting to see the whole process of them trying to get it going again and how Waymo support deals with situations like this (which are pretty rare). The support team was really nice and communicative.
Have to fly back home to New England tomorrow, but hopefully will try another robotaxi ride in Nashville in the future, and of course other cities.
Newscum is referring to a loan that Elon Musk got from the government to start Tesla Fremont. He’s neglecting to mention that Elon paid it back ahead of time and with interest.
ELON MUSK: "You should be able to have a Starlink, like you have an AT&T or T-Mobile or Verizon or whatever, you could have an account with Starlink that works with your Starlink antenna at home with free Wi-Fi as well as on your phone. We're not going to put the other carriers out of business. They're still going to be around because they own a lot of spectrum.
It will allow SpaceX to deliver high bandwidth connectivity directly from the satellites to the phones, but there are hardware changes that need to happen in the phone. You should be able to watch videos anywhere on your phone."
