@SapphyraNymphea as a star wars themed v-tuber, i have my starting soon screen play game trailers of games I want to play in a movie theater setting. Complete with little Stream avatars at the bottom. It's a 10 min video that ends with a customized text scroll that has a minor amount of lore.

Hot take: If you uninstalled Destiny after EOF because your silly gun isn't doing the goof numbers anymore, than you need to really look inwards and re-evaluate why you were playing the game to begin with. The game doesn't suck, you do.

Some players can't play Destiny 2 like they used to, and it's not because they don't love the game. Life doesn't allow it anymore.
They used to have the time, before kids, before full time jobs.
Priorities shift. Now, logging in for more than a few hours a week isn't realistic. For players wired to go all in, not being able to keep up is frustrating. They don’t want to play halfway, so some step away entirely.
It makes sense. Getting top tier weapons or completing activities often requires specific loadouts, a coordinated fireteam, and multiple attempts. That’s not just playtime, it’s prep time. Without that commitment, Destiny becomes frustrating.
Many have moved on to games that ask less, single player titles, games with pause buttons, or ones that don't reset every Tuesday. It's not that Destiny is worse. It just doesn’t fit their lives right now.
And that’s okay.
Different seasons of life call for different games. These players are still fans. They just need something else for now.
