In the time of the Prophet ﷺ, there was a young man and like many young people, his desires were strong. He who walked into the masjid while the Prophet ﷺ was sitting with his companions.
And he said something no one expected:
“Ya Rasulullah… allow me to commit zina.”
SubhanAllah… today I learned something that shifted my entire perspective.
In class, the ustadh asked:
“Why do people die?”
Most of us answered:
“Because their time (ajal) has come.”
He said: No
So ask Him for whatever you want. Even if it is something small. Even if it is insignificant like a piece of chocolate you’re craving. Ask Him for that piece of chocolate. For when you do, you’ve shown your need for Him. And that is something that Allah love. 💕
Ask Allah for everything and don’t fear sustenance as long as His storehouses are full. For by Allah, His storehouses will never be empty.
The Prophet (SAW) said to the nearest meaning, “…ask Allah for everything, even a lace for your shoe if it breaks.”
