Durante años se han infiltrado en redes de peleas ilegales de perros, han ayudado a cerrar criaderos clandestinos, investigado animales robados y confrontado cara a cara a personas acusadas de abuso animal.

Muchos de ellos tienen pasados relacionados con la violencia y las bandas, pero decidieron utilizar esa intimidación para algo completamente distinto: rescatar animales que no pueden defenderse solos.

Incluso colaboran con refugios y familias para recuperar perros abandonados o sacarlos de situaciones extremas de maltrato.

From across the kennel aisle, his little tail wagged like maybe... just maybe... it was finally his turn too.

But after the family walked out with the other dog, the room went quiet again. He stood there for a second staring at the empty hallway before slowly walking back to his bed with his tail tucked low.

Most people came looking for a puppy.
She came looking for someone who needed her. ❤️

For months, this blind senior dog waited while families passed him by. Shelter workers worried his chance had already come and gone. Then a little girl who is deaf walked in with her mom. She stopped in front of him like she already knew him.
