Braving subzero temperatures and inclement operating conditions, the timely aerial rescue was necessitated due to the roads being cut-off from the incessant snowfall over the past few days.

Update on rescue mission at Pang-

After the recce in the area, some goats were found stranded in a deep gorge. UTDRF personnel swiftly took action, using ropes to successfully recover 27 of the stranded livestock today.

Snow Leopard Brigade organised a Cricket Tournament in #Nyoma connecting the Youth of Ladakh region. Five Teams participated in the Tournament. #Mudh Cricket Team emerged as the Champions. Cricket Kits were presented to the Nyoma Youth Association to nurture the budding talents.

To support the initiative of the Govt of India, the Snow Leopard Engineers constructed a 45 m x 20 m pond at Nyoma Village thereby enabling water harvesting. The pond was inaugurated by Commander Snow Leopard Brigade in the presence of SDM, Nyoma.
