@buppi Depends for me, if I'm using it for something specific online I don't want a signature on it (ie meme/rp/emote stuff for discord/TH/twitch) but if it's an illustration I want to print as a poster/postcard for my wall, sign it so it feels like a real print/painting!!

I always explain when I intend to use it for the vtuber side but it sucks to be charged more for just having a vtuber model when I barely stream

@RPGReki @Minaowaa I'm vaguely aware of a fee but I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) the fee is only taken if paypal decides in favor of the client and processes the refund?

I can definitely be wrong! I've never dealt with a chargeback as seller, only one time as a client needing a refund

@luvenecce No refund/partial refund is for after work has been done to protect the artist from being scammed, full refunds are for before work is done to protect the client from being scammed 😑

I don't know what's so hard about that idea for some people

@Minaowaa Not defending them but PayPal takes the funds away from the seller's funds when there is a dispute so Semi may actually think PayPal gave you a refund already (the money is held until they decide, so the seller can't withdraw it and leave PayPal responsible for the refund)

@Tantan_MooTuber I contacted Kanijam on Aug 6/7th with quick replies. After, they ghosted me for a week+ between each reply so i finally told them i would seek another rigger. They did say on twitter they had been sick, but something felt off about their vanishing. I'm sorry this happened to you

@semicollon007 I understand, I'm only trying to provide helpful ideas that could avoid this issue in the future. When someone orders they can afford it, but situations change and you can't guarantee you'll get 50% from them later if they cancel. I hope the idea of a no-refund deposit helps

Not everything a streamer says is for every viewer. We try to be kind, share happiness and show compassion for others

Kidding aside, sometimes we forget to think outside our own perspective and I hope that being reminded not everything is for 1 person helps them pause and think/ask questions
