Here's a tip for the new Vertical Streamers!
You can source clone your game play and use a composite blur filter to make your backdrop aesthetically pleasing!
💌VTUBER COLLAB STRATEGY, when to do it and how to make it actually work:
collabs are one of the fastest ways to reach new audiences, WHEN you do them right!!
_____
→ collab with creators whose audience would genuinely care about your content. a collab where your audiences don't overlap doesn't move the needle for either person. find creators in adjacent niches, similar viewers, different enough content that there's a reason to watch both.
→ bring value to the collab, not just your presence. the best collabs have a clear format. showing up and hoping chemistry happens is not a plan.
→ follow conversion from collabs is much lower than people expect. viewers who come from a collab might watch once and leave. the ones who stay are the ones who saw something from YOU specifically that made them want more.
→ do a collab recap post after. clip the best moment, post it everywhere, tag the partner. this doubles the content lifespan and re-exposes both audiences!
💌Would you collab with me? :D💌
How To Talk On Stream!!!
Have you ever struggled with keeping conversation going in a quieter chat or are you a fellow introvert who feels awkward sometimes?! - Here to help!!!
1. Welcome new chatters
Say hello to new people and make them feel comfortable or part of your stream immediately.
2. Ask questions
While it is your stream and your channel, make sure to give your chat a voice, they are who made you, they deserve to be heard too!
3. Pick what you engage with
You never HAVE to read or answer anything that makes you uncomfortable or upsets you. The delete function is free.
4. Create interactions for lurkers
On-screen viewer games, a community deezcord, emotes and channel point redeems are for everyone, but especially for quieter chatters to support you.
5. Scripts
If you struggle with finding topics, write down what happened in your week, new things you learned or watched or enjoyed, and bring them to stream.
6. Go on tangents
Have a story that loosely relates to something chat mentioned, time to tell it!
7. List of safe topics
Similar to scripts; keep a list of safe topics you can talk about when chat is quiet. Food, a game series you play regularly, upcoming events or ongoing sub goals are a good place to start!
8. Pace yourself
There is no such thing as too many topics, but make sure people are able to follow your train of thought if they join in late or recap if a topic is on air for longer.
9. Get uncomfortable
You will encounter uncomfortable topics and silence every so often, learn new ways to deflect and escape those topics, without dropping your thread of thought or the overall vibe of your stream.
10. Have fun!!!
Make sure that you steer your chatting session towards a neutral or positive vibe and have a good time, it's your show and you deserve to feel comfortable with its topics.
