The Kōrero (talk) was held to strengthen social bonds between communities. It allowed for the exchange of ideas between our Ahmadi Muslim and Māori wāhine (women). The kōrero ended with kai (food) and a tour of the mosque. #Islam#māori#loveforallhatredfornone#voicesforpeace
The two communities harmoniously exchanged their beliefs. Despite the differences, it was humbling to realise the parallels between how the two organisations are run. This visit provided another opportunity for building religious harmony and mutual understanding.
They were warmly welcomed at the church and given an extensive tour of the premises. They were also told that they asked questions of a deep nature, rather than the surface-level questions that had been received previously.
