@lilgustaffson Its just because the reason a team is ranked higher is that on average they win. So the more times the "worse" team plays, the harder it becomes to beat the odds.
Having 1 amazing game is possible. Eg Paraguay Germany. But having 12 amazing games in a row is much harder
@LilithRStacey The tactical vote here is throwing it into the bin really. But its probably labour imo. I can see more LD/greens going labour than vice versa. Unless you can stomach voting tory which are technically the anti reform party here. But its yikes
@LilithRStacey It is a pretty big admission of defeat from reform here. I’m not sure if it changes much for the greens as I doubt the reform—>green swing is massive. But I worry Zack and the greens will focus too much on the national politics. As they can’t be the only local one like in Gorton
@BNHWalker The problem with this stunt is that he can now no longer attack Burnham for "only being elected mp". As Labour can also now say (assuming he wins) that this election proves nothing but you are still popular in clacton
@stoolpresidente How many times to people need to say that it isn't about Balogun. It's about a head of state interfering in international football in a manner which hasn't been seen in 50 years.
@BoyleCatriona And we can all breathe a sign of relief and resume the process of calling England shit after this brief interlude.
This feels like the Christmas truce in ww1 has just ended
@thefactualprep People very much did discuss the awful conditions of the workers in Qatar. And they discussed the issues with Russia hosting before that. Europeans are not one people. And fifas non stop parade of corruption is bad. Even if it helps you
@IcyVert@LinkofSunshine It’s not a fear thing. They couldn’t care less about which specific player is involved. They are just pissed that fifa is bending the rules because the host nation said so. I don’t care if the red card was deserved or not he got one. Move on
@verstappenews Yea but where is he going. McLaren Mercedes and Ferrari all have full driver line ups for next year. And I don't see why any of them would swap here. The only moves Max can make are down the grid. And I really doubt he'd be happy with that
@LinkofSunshine Even at reforms (so far) peak. They were only likely to get a small majority. We are now gone from that peak. Reform are struggling to transition from a purely anti-establishment party. To a more "normal" party. And Farage has lost favour with the right wing media too.
@The_Ice_Creamy I think B. Similar to what Sunak has been doing since 24. Both seem to have an actual commitment to political service and want to improve things. Even if the public disagrees with their methods.
@SarahForRuncorn So instead of saying "hey dont punch your wife because england are bad at kicking a ball" you blame the footballers? Simply disgraceful
