Happy Arab American Heritage Month!
Did you know Oregon’s Arab American community is one of the fastest growing in the US? That's right!
Oregon was also the first U.S. state to elect an Arab American Governor – Former Governor Victor George Atiyeh, who served from 1979 to 1987.
Did you know the first Women’s History Month was celebrated in 1987, when Congress passed a resolution designating March as Women’s History Month? This was after YEARS of organizing.
Happy International Women’s Day!
