October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), recognizing the need to unite communities and advocates in ended domestic violence.

OCFW will be sharing resources throughout the month so that our community can heal, hold space, and center those most marginalized.

August 26 commemorates the 1920 adoption of the 19th Amendment to the United State’s Constitution, which prohibited states and the federal government from denying the right to vote on the basis of sex.

Equal Pay Day marks the day into the new calendar year the average white woman must work to earn the same as the median man had earned in the year prior.

This discrepancy is far greater for AANHPI, Black, Latina, and Indigenous women.
