During this week's maths learning, the Nursery children have carefully looked at the pictures and have sequenced them in order to show their morning routine. They were also able to confidently talk about their routine.
Linked to learning about different vehicles, the Nursery children have enjoyed using the different construction resources to build and create models of different vehicles.
During this week's topic session and linked to learning about travel and transport, the Nursery children were able to either sort pictures or verbally say how and where different vehicles travel - air, road, track, or sea.
Linked to current learning about travel and transport, and making links to prior maths learning about 2D shapes, the Nursery children have made brilliant pictures of vehicles using different shapes.

Linked to learning about the summer time, the Nursery children have enjoyed creating transient art seaside pictures using a variety of themed loose parts.
...The children had a really fun time and as enjoying the bouncy castle they also developed their gross motor skills as jumping, bouncing, rolling, crawling and sliding on the bouncy castle.
On Monday, the Nursery children received a bouncy castle reward from Mrs Howard for improved attendance and for trying hard to attend school every day on time...
Linked to learning of the 'Naughty Bus' story, the Nursery children have enjoyed creating their own representation of the naughty bus character from the story.
The Nursery children used the cutters to create playdough vehicles for the travel and transport scene. They pressed and cut out the different vehicles and placed them appropriately on the scene as to where they travel.
The Nursery children have developed their fine motor skills this week when carefully tracing over the outlines to create a picture of the naughty bus linked to this week's focus text.
