@realFemiOtedola Abdulazeez Yaris : Zero documented business or career pre-politics, yet a billionaire. Nigeriaโs enduring sorrow - wealth without enterprise!
@Funminz Itโs never about Nigeria. itโs about organisational culture. Multinationals in Nigeria use first names all the way to the CEO. UBA & local firms probably donโt. Same country, totally different norms. The real difference is the company not the nation.
@MasterJamesofS1 I always thought Western political discourse was far more mature than Africa. Recent events proved that wrong. Comments on UK politics on X is strikingly similar and often African takes are better. As for the US? They voted that 'one' twice, says it all ๐
@Oluomoofderby@banksofcalgary Domestic violence is not a Nigeria in UK problem!
About 197 domestic violence related death were recorded in Nigeria in 2025. 54 so far in 2026 YTD. Even these numbers are grossly under reported.
@BBCWorld@BBCWorld can you also inform your readers of this increase in absolute numbers? Increasing monthly salary from cica ยฃ54/month to ยฃ97/ month for a soldier is disgraceful to say the least!
@jayhemz Well, I haven't heard that word in the workplace doesn't mean someone else hasn't heard it - we are overtly critical of other nations. When "shit hit the fan" in Lagos, I was called omon Ibo, though I am an Ishan man from Edo!
@Thisiskeena I want to assume this is paired with stricter rules , better brightness reduction, debris control, frequency discipline, and global coordination. The risk is the cumulative buildโout.
@SamCKx Available data show @Keir_Starmer was making progress. However when data and public perception clash: Data means nothing. Perception drives the politics, even when such perceptions are driven by misinformation..
@MatthewStadlen Point of correction - he isn't rude to the PM, he is disrespectful to the British people and strangely the people do not even realize it ..
