My first taste of this new @thornbridge Union Set beer. 1838 is an impressive Pale Ale. So much flavour in a 4.5 ABV beer. Mellow & rounded. Fantastic. @GBBFWinter .

Cantillon Saint Lamvinus 5 year old. Lambic has come forward, fruity tastes no longer dominate but fruity vinous flavours obvious mid palate. Dry with woody tannic notes. Vinous elements reassert at the finish. A very enjoyable drink indeed. A good age for Saint Lamvinus.
