Liam Graham (Boone 2027) had an outstanding weekend in Nashville at the Music City Classic. Liam was 4-8, with a double and triple. He played outstanding defense and caught the eye of some professional organizations scouts!

We had a ton of rain Driday night and Coach Billings and Lake Sumter assistant baseball coach Ramses Cordova worked tirelessly to make sure we could get 8 of the 9 games for the weekend in. Peyton Neeley (Ocoee 2027) had an outstanding weekend behind the plate and went 2-2 in the OBA 6-2 victory over CRFS on Monday. He drove in a run and doubled.
Dominic Baquie (Seminole 2027) picked up his first OBA victory on the mound with 3 innings of work. He surrendered 1 earn run and 2 hits in his first game start back after surgery.
Jaxon Leonard (Lake Sumter State College commit) pitched 2 scoreless innings and was 2-2 in front of his future coaching staff at Lake Sumter on Monday in an OBA victory over Casty Sports Academy 18U team
LHP / OF / 1B Ethan DeClue (Apopka 2027) open the summer season with a line drive home run to right center field in game 2.
While winning the opening game on the mound by pitching 5 innings, surrendering just 4 hit and 2 runs. He also struck out 4.
Aiden Mojica (Ocoee 2027) had an outstanding opening weekend at Lake Sumter State College. For the weekend Aiden went 5-6, scores 7 runs, knocked in 4 runs, stole 3 bases and played a flawless weekend of SS. His intense play and leadership was on display all weekend.
Liam Graham (Boone 2027) opened his OBA career with a 2-5 day, with an RBI and 2 outstanding diving defensive plays in right field.
In game 2 Liam was 1-3 with a double
Cullen Johnson (Apopka 2029) picked up a 4 pitch save and a 2/3 of an inning win on the mound for the OBA 2028 team. Cullen also had an outstanding day at SS, making a double digit number of plays Monday.
CJ Nassar (Boone 2027) outfielder / catcher opened the summer season with a 2-5 open day. He drew 2 walks and knocked in 2 run, while stealing a base. In game 2 CJ was 2-3, scoring 2 runs, knocking in 3 runs and stealing another base.
He played well in CF and threw out the only base runner who attempted to steal on him. His leadership was on display all weekend as well.
RHP Bobby Judd (Ocoee 2029) defeated the Southern Squeeze 18U team 5-3 Monday. Judd worked 5 1/3 innings surrendering just 2 earned runs and only 1 walk.
Jaden Brown (Ocoee 2028) was 2-2 in OBA’s 5-3 victory over the Southwrn Squeeze 18U team on Monday. Then in the 11-10 OBA game 3 victory over Casty Sports Academy Jaded tripled, was hit by a pitch and stole a base.
He also struck out 7 Casty hitters in 3 innings of work on the mound.
Jaded finished the weekend 4-6, with 3 hit by pitches, a triple and an RBI.
Maddox Thompson (Apopka 2029) opened his OBA 16U career by collecting 3 hits in 5 at bats with an RBI and triple in their opening day victory. Then went 2-2 with an RBI and sacrifice fly. Then had a base hit in the 7th inning rally in game 3, while being 2-4, an RBI, and a stolen base.
For the weekend Maddox was 7-11 with 3 RBI, a stolen base and a triple.
Jake Nassar (Boone 2029) opened the summer season by pitching 5 innings as the opening day winning pitcher, surrendering just 1 earned run and 3 hits. He also was 3-3, scores 2 runs, doubles and drove in 3 runs. Then in OBA’s game 3 Jake hit a walk off triple to right centerfield leading OBA back from a 2 run 7th inning deficit, with his 2nd hit of the game.
Jake finished the weekend 5-10, 7 runs scored, 5 runs knocked in, 2 stolen bases, a double and a triple.
