I got a quote to finish off the plumbing at a SFH we own for $12k… and one for $3k… and one for $1k. I knew the $1k guy was off, and he needed to ask for another $600 by the end. He did great. 12x 👀

I also got a quote to replace the top 6’ of brick on a chimney for… $30k. If people say yes to that the price isn’t wrong. For me it was a hell no.

I sometimes get the comment that “They didn’t actually wan the job, so they threw an outrageous number out there.” I think some people do that all day.

It’s UNREAL. Be good w your kids, and keep that goodness going. They still hear it and feel it and you won’t know for quite some time. But there will be signs. And you have done a good job at that point. Better they stretch their wings and become independent and do the same for their families. Stay the course. 💪🏻
