I tweet about the Yankees/Rangers/Jets/Nets more than anything else. Occasionally I'm funny, occasionally I'm political, but always try to be respectful.
@SAINTNET1 Let's say they traded 3 unprotected 1sts & MPJ for him, do you think that ever leads to a title? I personally don't. His age, contract & the timeline of their youth don't match up. It obviously makes them better, but they aren't 1 player away & he wouldn't be here long term.
The Justice Department's unilateral abandonment of the Anti-Weaponization Fund "makes it crystal clear that these parties were never adverse," the former judges argue.

@BrooklynNetcast My biggest issue with last year's draft was actually making all of the picks. Trading up or trading out would have been more appealing to me. No clue what was available to Marks or how hard he tried though.
@Keith_McPherson It's not apples to apples & i'm not saying a title is on the horizon because of this. There are lessons there though about not worrying about other teams & merely doing what is best for your franchise right now. Nets have no path to title contention this year. Raise the floor 1st
@TippeTyYay@MarcCarig I couldn't disagree more. I don't want to be a jerk about it, but the Mets don't have the Yankees fanbase & it doesn't concentrate in the city the way the Knicks does. As a Nets fan I can admit that they don't dent the Knicks fanbase the way the Yankees & Mets do. It's not close
@TippeTyYay@MarcCarig All championships are special in NY. I personally have never seen the entire city, i mean all 5 boroughs, with watch parties, celebrations, people gathered outside on stoops, etc ... That isn't happening for the Mets. Baseball is my first love, I'm just making an observation.
@TippeTyYay@MarcCarig Yes. I went to the parade, millions of Yankees fans in the canyon of heroes, it was awesome. I was in NYC when they beat the Mets in 2000, Times Square was insanity. It still didn't match the city wide scenes we saw last night. Again, I'm not a Knicks fan, I'm a realist.
@TippeTyYay@MarcCarig No they wouldn't, nor would/did the Yankees. I'm not a Knicks fan, but I can admit that them winning is unique in NY sports, specifically in NYC.
