The Cardinals will gather in the Sistine Chapel on May 7 to begin the conclave to select the next Pope.
Twice a day, in the morning (except on May 7) and in the evening, smoke will emerge from the chimney - black if no Pope has been elected and white if at least 89 Cardinals have agreed on who will lead the Catholic Church.

The High Court has suspended the implementation of the new university funding model until a case we filed is heard and determined.
The case, filed on October 13, 2023, by KHRC, the Elimu Bora Working Group, Boaz Waruku, and the Students Caucus, argues that the funding model is discriminatory and locks thousands of students out of higher education.
However, the case faced delays. Justice Chacha Mwita noted today that it was stalled because the Attorney-General, Education CS, and the Kenya Universities and College Placement Service failed to file their submissions on time.
The case is coming up on December 16, 2024, to highlight submissions.

DP Gachagua: No. I trust the President. So trusting am I and my people from Mt. Kenya that in the whole of this matrix, we are the only people without a written agreement with Ruto
