Ohio Medicaid Fraud – The Exploding Story!
We told you back in February that this story of the fraud problem was a ticking time bomb, well the bomb has gone off. In late December/early January, Columbus officials scrambled to get out in front of the childcare fraud in Ohio. Nick Shirley’s reports out of Minnesota gave detailed information on the Somalian fraud of greater Minneapolis. Eyes quickly turned to Ohio, with the second largest Somalian population in America. John Solomon of Just the News reported on the federal records that $136 million in paper cash trafficked through John Glenn International Airport in the year 2023 alone from the Somalian community of Columbus to the Somalian community of Minneapolis. It was packaged with millions more from the Somalian community in greater Minneapolis, a total of $700 million, and sent to Mogadishu, Somalia in North Africa and to the terrorist group Al-Shabaab. With these reports, state legislators began scrambling to obtain more information from the DeWine Administration from the Department of Children and Youth and the Department of Medicaid. Auditor of State Keith Faber had already been researching the numbers on home health care, finding that large anomalies appeared in Franklin County in the Somalian Community of those making application for home health care services, so much so that there were more applications in Franklin County in two zip codes around Morse Road than in all the other 88 counties combined. Independent journalists in January and February were on the ground in Ohio, knocking on doors and conducting research on childcare, health care, and transportation entities that had received millions of taxpayer dollars from state and federal government to provide services. These investigative reporters found that there were empty offices, wrong addresses, and no services being provided. Federal authorities began investigating what was happening in Ohio in the Somalian community.
Then, Luke Rosiak’s Daily Wire report on the Ohio fraud broke the story wide open. Vice President JD Vance, who was tasked by President Trump to commission a task force on fraud, made the announcement that he is focusing on his home state of Ohio. It is reported that the Vice President will be in Ohio the first week of June to make a major announcement. Meanwhile, the DeWine Administration that has disparaged any real investigation into the fraud over the past few years, is now scrambling to accommodate the federal authorities that are now in his state investigating. DeWine, who vetoed meaningful accountability measures that the state legislature put forward, is now interested in cooperating with Vice President Vance, the Trump Administration, and the Justice Department on measures that would curb fraud in the Medicaid programs of Ohio. But many see this as too little too late, as undoubtedly, the DeWine Administration officials of Medicaid and the Department of Children and Youth will receive subpoenas to appear before Congress and testify under oath as to what they knew and when they knew it. Speaker of the Ohio House Matt Huffman is furious with the DeWine Administration and has stated in a Columbus Dispatch article that Governor’s Department of Medicaid put up obstacles and hurdles to legislative measures thar would have solved many of the problems with the home health care programs. Speaker Huffman’s comments came after the Daily Wire report that accuses Ohio of allowing widespread fraud, particularly in the Franklin County Somalian community. The investigative articles, according to the Dispatch, have prompted state and federal investigations into the allegations.
OCA President Chris Long made the following statement,
“The Medicaid healthcare, childcare, transportation fraud that has pilfered billions of dollars from Ohio taxpayers is not a victimless crime. Ohioans who work hard, raise their families, pay their taxes, and play by all the rules, watch as half their wages are taken away in taxes on the city, state, and federal level. Young Ohioans are struggling to get by, working hard every day, and they are watching the American dream slip away for them. Governor DeWine has shown more interest and compassion for the immigrant communities that were thrown into Ohio by the Obama and Biden Administration than he has for his own fellow Ohio citizens. Young Americans are losing faith in America. That is unacceptable.”
Long continued, “Government accountability is needed desperately. And that needs to start right here in Ohio where the fraud has taken American taxpayers by billions of dollars. The FBI raids that we saw just a few weeks ago in Minneapolis at the “Learing Center” and other fraudulent state licensed entities need to happen here in Columbus, Ohio, where the fraud has been rampant and unpoliced. Federal authorities also need to investigate county officials who have looked the other way and who may have actually been involved in the fraud, as there has not been one Medicaid fraud prosecution in Franklin County. We will be very interested to see and hear what Vice President Vance has to say about the Ohio fraud.” - Chris Long
Fraudsters stole your tax dollars to buy exotic and luxury cars - but now, time’s up. Proud of our task force for all of the work being done to hold criminals accountable.
Three major announcements for health care in Ohio:
1️⃣ Suspending 49 Ohio home healthcare providers who've been identified as high-risk to the Medicaid program
2️⃣ Granted a 6-month moratorium for all new home healthcare services and hospices in Ohio
3️⃣ @CMSGov and Ohio to launch a state-specific Medicaid fraud war room and arming all states with information on high-risk providers
The American taxpayer will be protected and fraudsters will be found and charged.

🚨 NOW: FBI Director Kash Patel reveals MASSIVE FRAUD RING in Ohio has been caught, criminal charges filed for TENS OF MILLIONS stolen
"Literally tens of millions of dollars that were supposed to go to kids was stolen, allegedly, by individuals who worked in government and the private sector and thought they could fleece Americans and our treasury, our children, of the hard-earned dollars, the taxpayer dollars that we provide to support them in their time of need!"
"Well, they got caught, and not only did they get caught, so many others got caught."
"Just take a look at some of the vehicles that are here as part of their ill-gotten gains and proceeds."
"They didn't just take the money, they paraded it around the country." @FBIDirectorKash
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost: I have been doing Medicaid investigations and prosecutions for almost 16 years, and "I have NEVER had the level of interest and support from the federal government, under any administration, that you're witnessing here today."
.@DAGToddBlanche announces the indictment of multiple individuals, including Ohio state employees, for defrauding taxpayers:
"Today, the @TheJusticeDept is announcing significant fraud enforcement in the state of Ohio, as well as a historic fraud-fighting partnership with state of Ohio officials, which is exactly how it should be in every state."
Massive fraud: In 2023 alone, $136 million in cash, weighing 1.5 tons if in $100 bills, was trafficked through Columbus airport from the Somali community to Mogadishu. This money funded Al-Shabaab. Your tax dollars at work. #FraudAlert#TaxDollars
We want to find fraud wherever it is and put the bad guys behind bars.
In Ohio alone, we believe $1.2 billion of our tax dollars went to fraudsters.
We see it. We’re going after it.
Democrats new this was happening in our state and said nothing about it. Someone should have asked if any of their constituents came to them as whistle blowers on the fraud in the Samoan community.
Ending fraud should be a bipartisan priority.
Democrats fought us on the DOGE committee. They fought us in today’s hearing.
Apparently, they aren’t concerned with combatting fraud.
.@lukerosiak talks about a Medicaid fraudster who flaunts on social media a life of private jets, yachts, etc. "These are people that came here as refugees & now they’re living as millionaires [via fraud]."
ROSIAK: "Whistleblowers in the [Columbus] area tell me companies knock on doors in ethnic neighborhoods, where most people are on Medicaid & most people live in multi-generational households, & they tell the older family member to go to particular doctors & claim particular symptoms, & then they will put the younger family member on their payroll with the parent as their only patient.
"Now that triggers payments of up to $90,000 a year, which the company splits with the younger relative & the younger relative splits with the older relative. 81 percent of Bhutanese are on welfare, a fact that some of the remainder use to become obscenely rich.
And I had a story just yesterday, a 29-year-old named Roshan Adhikari works at his dad’s home health-care company. His social media documents a life fit for a rapper or a movie star. He’s drinking champagne on private jets, he’s on his yacht, he’s making movies starring himself. This was funded — his dad — his dad has this company that was paid $17 million for taking care of old people. Well he’s got it apparently another full-time job, he’s doing this on the side. The dad hasn’t paid taxes in, like, five years, he’s got tax liens in Ohio at the state level in a Cuyahoga County. And the 25-year-old brother has his own home health care company that got $10 million. So these are people that came here as refugees & now they’re living as millionaires & they’re getting the money because the other refugees are all on Medicaid & then are claiming to be very sick."
Me: "How many [Ohio fraudsters] had Somali, Bhutanese, or other African-origin names."
@lukerosiak: "100%."
Me: "And how many did you look through?"
@lukerosiak: "I looked at the names of hundreds of companies."
Wow ....

Tomorrow is Election Day in California and Mail-in ballots are being found burned and voting centers vandalized.
This is what election integrity looks like in a Democrat-run city.
This is why we need the SAVE America Act NOW.
Vote in person tomorrow!

Well, this wasn't in the Columbus Dispatch story with his Dr. Oz's visit this week. This personal video he posted tells the real story of the industrial size fraud in Franklin County in the Somalian and Bhutanese communities. JD Vance and the Justice Department need to come in and lower the hammer.
🚨 WOW! CMS Chief Dr. Oz just personally showed up to a Somali FRAUD HOTBED in Ohio, home to the second-largest Somali population behind Minneapolis
7 buildings concentrated in one area have 288 "HOME HEALTH" Medicaid companies 🤯
That's 41 companies per building, some of which are nearly VACANT
Franklin County is 3 TIMES above what it should be in "home health" billing
"We also identified 288 Medicaid registered home health aid companies operating out of just seven office buildings along one nearby road."
"Some of these buildings are nearly vacant. Home health care and personal care services have become the subject of nearly all of the recent fraud prosecutions in Ohio."
"If we do this the right way, people will stop using Medicaid as a piggy bank. Vice President Vance, who's from Ohio, wants the White House Anti-Fraud Task Force coming after fraudsters everywhere with everything we have."
We found $118 million in improper payments for services for prisoners and dead people in a single public interest audit. We’ve conducted five of these audits, covering various parts of the Medicaid program, and those audits have found $1.9 billion in improper payments.
