Somehow this story was all but IGNORED by the mainstream media - so years later, let's make this hero FAMOUS.

A 64-year-old disabled man ran into a burning house twice to save an 8-year-old girl who was not his own.

On May 4, 2017, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Michael E. Surrell Sr. smelled smoke and learned that Tiara Roberts was still trapped upstairs in the neighboring home.

He went in, but the heat and smoke drove him back out. He went back in anyway.

Surrell climbed the stairs a second time, dropped to his hands and knees because he could not see, and crawled toward the sound of the girl moaning.

He found her near the top of the stairs, put her over his shoulder, and carried her through the smoke to safety.

On the porch he gave her rescue breaths until she revived. Both were hospitalized.

Surrell suffered smoke inhalation and a burn to his larynx. He later received the Carnegie Medal for heroism.

As he went back into the fire, Surrell later said this was going through his mind: “Well Lord, this is it. I’m not coming out without her, you got to help me.”

Forget the disability. This man saw somebody’s baby and decided he was going to be the one who brought her out. That is real courage.

🚨 THIS IS INSANE.

A 30-year-old man with a reported 22 arrests since 2020 is back behind bars after allegedly attacking a woman near the bathrooms at Savannah’s Daffin Park.

Lashawa Doyle is now charged with attempted rape, aggravated sexual battery, and false imprisonment. According to reports, this was already his EIGHTH arrest of 2026.

And here’s the part that should make everyone furious: he had reportedly been released from jail just 17 days earlier. Over his last 15 arrests, he was allegedly released every single time — with several cases involving suspended sentences or credit for time served.

Thankfully, park employees spotted what was happening and alerted an off-duty officer, who chased Doyle down and intervened.

22 arrests. Eight in one year. And somehow he kept getting another chance to walk free.

At what point does protecting the public become more important than giving the SAME repeat offender chance after chance after chance?

This woman could have paid the price for a system that apparently refused to learn from the first 21 arrests.
