Here to fill your waking hours w/uncertainty. You think you might harm that baby? Maybe you will. You worried you might get sick? You might. #OCD#FBR#Resist

My agent and I are trying to come up with a better title for my YA novel about a teen with OCD in an eight-week residential treatment. He suffers from harm OCD (fears of hurting other people). Of the following titles, which is your favorite?
Please RT to get a good sampling.
Today the President shared a video of people shouting “white power” and said they were “great.” Just like he did after Charlottesville.
We’re in a battle for the soul of the nation — and the President has picked a side. But make no mistake: it’s a battle we will win.
I fully endorse @JoeBiden for president! He will do more for mental health care than anyone else. We need someone who cares about us in the White House!
I'm looking for some folks to read the first three chapters of my YA novel about OCD on BookBoro. Just go to this link https://t.co/Qk3cxhb546 and register, then you can start the read test. The book is called Pigs in Clover.
I’m sitting with my dog having a cup of coffee. I finished the first draft of my YA novel, and I can’t wait for feedback. It’s the story of a seventeen-year-old boy with OCD (sound familiar) who tackles his mental illness head on. I am looking for feedback from the OCD community.
That feeling you get when you leave your car but you think you forgot to put it in park and now you’re afraid it’s going to roll and run someone over.

Life is soooo hard! Nobody tells you how hard it is or how much you’ll suffer just like nobody tells you how hard it is to have kids or to own a house or to not eat that cookie. We delude ourselves into thinking it ain’t all that bad. But every day is strugs. Can I get an “Amen!”
Thank you to John Green and @TTotenAuthor for bringing OCD to the light in your incredible books. I hope to carry the torch you lit for a mile or two more if you will let me.

Namely, these other books relate the symptoms of OCD with some accuracy, but fail to connect the treatment with the acceptance of uncertainty that anyone with this illness must necessarily achieve to get well. I hope my book can manage to convey that.
I’m looking for YA that tackles OCD in an authentic AND insightful way. As a writer living with OCD and having been treated by the best specialists in the country, I’d like to think the YA book I’m writing about a boy with OCD will achieve what these other books fail to achieve.
Hello OCD folks! I finished reading Turtles All the Way Down by John Green, who has OCD. It felt very authentic but lacked insight into treatment. Now I’m reading The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B by @TTotenAuthor, and I knew right away from the text that the author did not have OCD.
Day 6 of OCD Awareness Week. Have you faced your fears yet? I walked out of the apartment today without checking if the door was locked. Took some will power, but I did it.
Day 2 of OCD Awareness Week. I found myself checking around my car after I backed up, worried I’d run something over. Another symptom of OCD. I’m a little rattled today because one of the family dogs had to be put down this afternoon. OCD flares up in times of stress and sadness.
Day 1 of OCD Awareness Week. I am feeling a bit low today. Not so much an OCD thing, but a general malaise. Lately I’ve been struggling with some classic OCD symptoms: checking the locks on my door, checking the stove, making sure my car is in park, etc. #ocdawareness#ocd
