On Thursday, July 8, 2021, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division secured a Murder Warrant for Darius Rashard Stevenson in connection to the shooting death of Brennon Harlan Lee Floreswhich occurred on July 6, 2021 in Vidor, Texas.

On Tuesday, July 6, 2021 shortly after 12:00 A.M. Deputies responded to the 1200 Block of Shamrock Street in Vidor, Texas in reference to a shooting. Once Deputies arrived on scene they discovered a deceased white male with a single gunshot wound. No information is being released

A downed power line at South 87 is causing traffic congestion and delays. Citizens driving into Bridge City and heading to Orange are being diverted to Hwy 62. The traffic control lights are out at hwy 62/87, 1006/87, and 105/87.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a narcotics search and arrest warrant for a residence in Pine Forrest, Orange County, Texas. Drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun were located inside the residence. The arrestee was Christine Duncan.

On Wednesday, May 12, 2021, The Orange County Narcotics Division, with the assistance of the Orange County SWAT Team, the Vidor Police Department and the Jasper County Precinct 6 Constable’s Office, executed a search and arrest warrant in Vidor, Texas.
