This is great step to help us get rid of TRADING when kids subtract. Need to SHIFT tens & hundreds instead. What's 321 – 164? Number bond we need is 200, 110, 11. 200-100=100, 110-60=50, 11-4=7. Answer is 157. Trading is turning kids into counters. Wasting so much precious time!
