Located in the southernmost part of Viet Nam, Cà Mau is defined by its vast coastal landscape and intricate network of rivers and canals.

With a coastline stretching over 300 km, the province is surrounded by both the East Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, shaping its strong connection to marine and riverine ecosystems. The province is also home to rich biodiversity, including mangrove forests such as U Minh, and diverse communities that contribute to its cultural landscape.

One of its most notable landmarks is Cape Cà Mau, a symbolic point where land extends toward the sea at the southern edge of the country.
