@NME@samuelpreston His music was rubbish, I wasn’t interested in BB, and I loved NMTB. However he signed up to have the piss taken out of him, and sticking up for his missus when they laughed at her in her absence was quite beautiful. I’m still in a minority of one I see 🙂
@Cropcirclejerk@MatthewMozzer Anyway the old Mark Twain quote seems to apply to one of us (could well be me). "Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". All the best, Chief
@Cropcirclejerk@MatthewMozzer The greatest trick the devil pulled was convincing people to believe in stuff that makes their life worse. You just need a cuddle man
@Cropcirclejerk@MatthewMozzer Ok, will get back to my one-room establishment flat and admit that downtrodden millionaire privately educated rebels called Nigel must save me from myself
@Cropcirclejerk@MatthewMozzer Nah we just miss the silly old duffer who said it’s so easy to laugh, it's so easy to hate. It takes strength to be gentle and kind
@RealEmirHan Oh god. Loved this film and read the book many times and just this moment realised that is me. The over-enthusiastic critique that no one requested rather than the joy of axe murder (to be clear)
@Dahshur11 Terrific film. Had a play of this as I used to commute to the station and thought about him and Julie Christie every single time. https://t.co/FiVd1K6DS4
